The Nantucket Fire Department works year-round to protect Nantucket and keep the community safe, whether it's responding to fires or medical emergencies or answering other calls for help. On Sunday, August 23, the community had a chance to show its appreciation for the men and women behind the badge, gathering at Sandbar at Jetties Beach for an afternoon fundraiser. The event featured live music by Cranberry Alarm Clock, along with exclusive Nantucket Fire merch and a 50/50 raffle. Proceeds from the event benefitted the department.
