Marathon men and women

Thousands of runners from all over the world took to the streets on April 21 for the 2025 Boston Marathon, which brought its usual mix of grit, glory, and cheers to the city. Nantucket was well represented at the race, with nine known island residents — and many others with local ties — taking part. Local runners participated on behalf of various organizations and charities, including Boston Children's Hospital, the Bill Belichick Foundation, and the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
