Whalers notch another win

The Nantucket High School varsity football team dominated Blackstone Valley Tech on Saturday, securing a 41-6 home victory. The guys in the booth named Burke Lombardi as Player of the Game, after live coverage on 97.7 ACK-FM. With no game on their calendar next week, the Whalers are scheduled to play again on Friday, October 3, away at Falmouth High School, with kickoff at 4 pm. Nantucket's True Island Radio, 97.7 ACK-FM, brings listeners, on island and off, the play-by-play, live on-air, plus pregame, half-time, and postgame segments. Broadcasts start 15 minutes before the scheduled kickoff time.
