Whalers in full swing

In this issue we focus on the excitement of fall high school sports on the island, with the Nantucket High School Whalers soccer and field hockey teams playing during the second week of September. Games featured here saw Nauset Regional High School visit the fields at Nantucket High School on Wednesday, September 16. The girls varsity field hockey team won 3-1 against the Nauset Warriors. The Whaler boys soccer team scored a victory, too, winning 3-1 over the Warriors. The girls soccer team was defeated 0-3. Both junior varsity teams notched victories.
