The Nantucket Historical Association is taking viewers "behind the seams" this summer with a deep dive into the island's history through clothing and textiles. The organization's 2025 featured exhibition, Behind the Seams: Clothing and Textiles on Nantucket, showcases over 150 objects from NHA's textile collection — from garments and accessories to tools that reflect generations of island life. The exhibition runs through November 2 at the Whaling Museum.
