Rolling tribute

Engines may have led the way, but hearts steered the annual Ride for Baxter this weekend. Now in its third year, the charity motorcycle ride honors the life of Baxter Waldman, the Nantucket High School student who died in a motorcycle accident in 2022. Riders cruised through town and out to 'Sconset before heading back to the VFW for a community gathering with families and friends. Proceeds from the event support a scholarship fund in Baxter's name.
