Slow sail to the finish

Sunday's calm conditions put a little drag on the final day of Nantucket Race Week, with light winds forcing the cancellation of the colorful Rainbow Fleet Parade. A few Beetle Cats were eventually towed around Brant Point, while the breeze finally filled in enough for the day's big race to get underway: the 54th annual Opera House Cup. Sea Horse, skippered by Ron Zarrella, ultimately sailed to victory, taking home the cup for the third consecutive year. The nine-day Nantucket Race Week is hosted by Nantucket Yacht Club and Great Harbor Yacht Club to benefit Nantucket Community Sailing. This year marked the event's 23rd on the water.
