Fans of Nantucket’s signature delicious bay scallops made a strong showing at this month’s Scallopalooza. The event by Nantucket Shellfish Association drew dozens of Nantucketers to Cisco Brewers for music, shucking demos, and, of course, seemingly endless mouthfuls of the Nantucket delicacy sought by so many for their meal tables.
