A full house turned out for Night at the Museum, hosted July 11 at the Nantucket Shipwreck & Lifesaving Museum. Guests enjoyed a first look at Hard Times to Boom Times — Nantucket's Waterfront, a new exhibit from Egan Maritime Institute tracing the island's evolution from post-whaling decline to its 20th-century tourism revival. Egan Maritime presented Alfie Sanford with its annual Caldwell Heritage Award, recognizing his lifelong dedication to preserving and promoting Nantucket’s maritime heritage.
