Military march

In honor of the 250th anniversary of the U.S. Army, over two dozen soldiers from across New England arrived on Nantucket on Friday, June 13 for a ceremonial "Ruck March" through town. The procession — joined by members of the Coast Guard Station Brant Point — stepped off from Straight Wharf and ended at Brant Point Lighthouse. A volunteer-led cookout followed, offering lunch and music for the visiting service members.
