Theatre Workshop of Nantucket closed out a memorable run of Calendar Girls this spring, bringing the production to the stage at Bennett Hall during the island’s quieter season. Inspired by a true story, Calendar Girls follows a group of women who transform friendship and loss into an unexpected act of courage and community fundraising. TWN’s version stood out for its all-local cast, a deliberate shift from its typical Broadway-heavy lineup.
