Laugh your ACK off

Since it was launched in 2007, Nantucket Comedy Festival has promised you'll "laugh your ACK off" with the funny men and women it brings to Nantucket stages. Thursday night's opener stayed true to that promise with an all-women lineup that brought big laughs to the Dreamland stage. Festival founder and Nantucket favorite Kevin Flynn steered the ship as emcee, providing laughs himself to local fans and newcomers. Friday handed the mic to recent kid graduates of the festival's Stand Up & Learn program, as Nantucket's next wave of young comics strutted their comedic stuff in a free event at the Nantucket Performing Arts Center.
