Chamber celebration

The Nantucket Island Chamber of Commerce hosted its Annual Membership Celebration last week at the Sandbar on Jetties Beach. Business leaders and community members enjoyed live music, food, drinks, and a festive atmosphere by the water as this year’s award winners were honored. Photographer Bill Hoenk was recognized as Tourism Advocate of the Year, while 97.7 ACK-FM was named Small Business of the Year — both part of our True Island Digital family. Other honorees included St. Paul’s Episcopal Church for Volunteer of the Year, Cisco Brewers for Legacy Business of the Year, Nantucket Golf Club for Achievement of Merit, and Nantucket Pharmacy for Spirit of Nantucket. Winners shared remarks reflecting on their work and contributions.
