Together Against Cancer

Swim Across America Nantucket returned to Jetties Beach over the weekend for its 14th annual fundraiser benefiting cancer care and research. The annual open-water swim supports Nantucket Cottage Hospital, Palliative and Supportive Care of Nantucket, and the Mass General Brigham Cancer Institute. Hundreds of island residents and visitors took part in this year’s event, while many more gathered along the beach to cheer them on. Organizers presented a total of $935,000 raised during the event, with donations remaining open through October.
