On Sunday, Nantucket honored its fallen heroes with the annual Memorial Day parade. The Highland Light Scottish Pipe Band led the way through town, with veterans, active-duty military, first responders, scouts, and more following behind. The march made its traditional stop at the Civil War monument on upper Main Street before continuing to Prospect Hill Cemetery for a brief ceremony.
