On Sunday, November 23, hundreds of Nantucketers convened at the ‘Sconset Casino for the 11th annual Run for Robin 5K, supporting the Harvey Foundation and its mission to enhance education, athletics, and community service on the island. The race honors the legacy of Robin Harvey, a beloved community member, volunteer, and co-owner of the Seagrille restaurant who died in 2014. Since its inception, proceeds from the event — together with funds raised through the Harvey Foundation’s annual golf tournament — have supported a scholarship program that has awarded nearly $150,000 to island students.
