The Nantucket Historical Association's annual summer fundraiser, Baskets, Bubbles & Bourbon, returned on Friday, June 26 to celebrate the craft and history of lightship basketry on Nantucket. Guests bid on works from today's leading basket makers and browsed a showcase of distinguished private collections, featuring collaborations with scrimshawers and woodcarvers — all while raising a glass, or two, to the craft, over bourbon tastings and bubbles.
