A stroll through Codfish Park

Behind the rose-covered fences and weathered cedar shingles of 'Sconset are some of Nantucket's most historic cottages, and a select few opened their doors last week for the annual August Fête, the signature summer fundraiser for the Nantucket Preservation Trust. This year's event spotlighted historic Codfish Park in 'Sconset, where guests toured classic beach cottages before gathering for a reception at the 'Sconset Casino with food and drink, a raw bar, live music, and an auction.
